Auto cross-ul era o disciplina full contact  5-7 ture cu 4 - 12 masini din aceiasi grupa    1000-1300   , 1400 - 1600 , 1600 -2000   , 4x4 , etc.
Prin 97 pe  stadionul faur am avut norocul sa vad ce inseamna sportul asta si mi-a placut enorm . Dupa un an am revenit si eu cu o masina pegatita (un ford escort) tata cu un audi 100 . Ne-a venit ideea sa inchirem masinile astea pe un circuit simultan din afara bucurestiului,din pacate Romanul este microbist si sporturile astea cu motor nu prea prind aici. A trebuit sa le tai pe toate din moment ce acest sport nu prindea la public si cursele de auto cross au disparut.Mai am cateva poze salvate din greseala , le atasez mai jos  :(.

3xDacia 1300 mici modificari aduse motorului (axa cu came R12 )
Audi 100 stoc modificat 1600
VW golf 2 GTI  1600

Pacat ca nu se mai practica. Acum cred ca mergea perfect la ce preturi mici au masinile din Anglia si cele inscrise pe Bulgaria.

Mi-ar placea sa am ocazia sa particip la o cursa.

Bestiala Dacia , Schumy !
Imi place la nebunie cum ai taiat-o in spate si ai micsorat portbagajul cum era la sportiva , mai scurt  !
Ne poti da mai multe detalii despre aceasta modificare ?
Mie unul mi se pare geniala , cum a fost taiata , oare se mai deschidea ?
Are un alt aspect masina asta asa , taiata !

:) Prima dacie rosie modificata de  rally cross a fost taiata in spate pentru a reduce din greutate ,  porbagajul era functional (adica se deschidea) Motorul era 1.4 , axa de R12 , chiuloasa comprimata , arcurile de supape de R12 ,  planetare glentzer , suspensie modificata (bare stabilizatoare intarite , arcuri comprimate si scurtate , carburatorul a fost personalizat pentru configuratia aia de motor. mergea 90 cu treapta 2 , 130 cu treapta 3 .
In rally cross acrosajele nu erau permise
